LOL.

The term LOL , which means Laugh out Loud often used in instant messaging like Yahoo!Messenger, Windows Live, and the likes. It's suppose to tell your friends that you laughed at what they said.

Ex.

A : Yo momma's so fat, when she walk in front of the TV, I missed the whole marathon
B : LOL !

or

Cathy : I think I just saw you in a salon the other day.
John : LOL. I don't =)

But these days, people often misused the term. One that I observed was

D : My cat died today.
E : lol

or

Gigi : I just got fired. Now I don't have a job.
Gaga : Lol.

Now that's a LOL =)
